Jamaica villa vacation
24. June 2009 by admin.
Have you ever tried a villa vacation? If not, you are missing the entirely new way of having the best and a care free vacation ever. Either you are a honeymoon couple, a family reunion, wedding or just friends gathering for a good time or an occasion, there is a perfect villa for you.
Each and every villa is full staffed for your convenience and comfort with a cook, maid, butler, groundskeeper and a poolman and more, that take care of each and every need all day long. From morning till night you are being pampered and taken care of , as you are a king and queen and that is just a start.
The villas of Jamaica offer the most wonderful view with private pools and some with private beaches, all depends on your budget tolerance , of course.
The Island of Jamaica offers a variety of activities from young to old, may it be golf , one of the best courses in the world, tennis , at your villa or at the club, scuba, snorkelling, from your own private beach or cliff, the wonderful food, music and Jamaican warmest hospitality.
I have been travelling to Jamaica since 1988 pretty well if not twice, at least once a year, and not once have I been disappointed yet with any of the villas I stayed in, might it be Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Treasure Beach, Negril or Port Antonio. Every part of the island has something different to offer for your pleasures .
Most villas are located on an excellent stretch of Jamaica’s beautiful north coast within a 10-mile span of the colourful town of Montego Bay and the international airport, enabling guests to reach “home”20 minutes after clearing Customs. http://www.sunnyvillaholiday.com/montego.html
Just a few minutes from Montego Bay villas are Round Hill Hotel & Beach Club … The Tryall Club with one of the world’s most beautiful golf courses, host to PGA and LPGA Tour events …Wyndham Rose Hall with beautiful new golf course and $7 million water park and Half Moon Golf, Tennis & Beach Club, also with championship golf course and tennis courts. Sunset sails, river rafting by torchlight, horseback riding, native floor shows, visits to the bird sanctuaries and waterfalls or to a furniture factory up a nearby mountain where you can custom order excellent quality cedar and mahogany reproductions
If you desire a more secluded properties, why not try the villas of the beautiful Discovery Bay. The colourful Ocho Rios is only minutes away as well and offer some fantastic villas, the Prospect Plantation properties are one of my favourites: http://www.sunnyvillaholiday.com/prospect.php
Have you ever dreamed of staying in a seaside castle in Port Antonio: http://www.sunnyvillaholiday.com/tridentcastle.html or be right on the waters of Blue Lagoon or a charming Eighteenth Century 13-bedroom plantation with stables and trails in Trelawny. Travel & Leisure has dubbed this stretch “the Jamaican Riviera.”
While privately located and concealed from view by lush landscaping, each villa is either right on the water or within easy driving distance of beaches, dive shops, boat rentals, clubs, boutiques, restaurants, golf courses, tennis courts, deep-sea fishing, snorkelling and other water sports, and craft markets.
The day starts while guests are still asleep. The cook quietly places pots of steaming Jamaican coffee on the veranda. Full breakfast is served when all guests are ready. A typical breakfast may include fresh-squeezed orange juice and fresh fruits, banana fritters or plantain, eggs, bacon, pancakes or cereal ~ or Jamaican ackee and salt fish. For lunches and dinners, your cook will prepare her own mix of Jamaican specialties ~ including delicious homemade soups and desserts, lobster, curried goat, jerk pork or chicken, lamb, beef, fresh fish ~ or serve traditional American fare as you request. Warning: Jamaican cooks are excellent and portions are generous!
Your chambermaid and laundress will care for every detail of your bedroom and bath ~ providing a daily supply of fresh linens and flowers, returning your neatly-folded laundry each afternoon, and turning down your bed each evening. The gardener will maintain the pool and grounds immaculately each day. Most villas are staffed by a butler as well who serves, tends bar and generally facilitates.
Available on request are masseuses, nannies and drivers. Plan to pay your grocery and gratuity monies in cash: US dollars or Jamaican dollars. You can have the villas pre-stocked prior to your arrival or shop on your own or have a wonderful experience of a local market with your cook along your site .
Jamaica enjoys typical Caribbean weather: 80’s and 90’s by day and 70’s at night. Winter to summer variance is only 10 degrees. It is more like to rain in May/June and September/October than in other months. Dress is casual. Coats, ties and expensive jewellery are not appropriate. In winter months, you may need a cotton sweater after sunset. Mosquito repellent is advised , but some of the villas provide it free of charge.
US dollars are accepted island wide. Exchange rates vary if you choose to purchase Jamaican dollars. Most commercial establishments, including grocery and liquor stores, accept credit cards. Staff and driver gratuities, however, must be paid in cash locally unless you have prepaid for these items.
Tourism is Jamaica’s leading industry, so reserve flights early. Your destination is Montego Bay. Air Jamaica, Air Canada, American, Continental, Delta, British Air, Northwest and US Air are major carriers. Several charters operate from the East Coast, the Midwest and Europe. Proof of citizenship will be required in the form of one of the following: http://www.sunnyvillaholiday.com/jamaica_info_sheet.html
Have you ever tried a villa vacation? If not, you are missing the entirely new and unforgettable experience.
No matter how small or large is your group , there is a perfect villa for you and all you have to do is to decide what you like to spend and where you like to be:-)

Welcome to St.Lucia
10. June 2009 by admin.
Sunny Greetings to you,
Once again we have been on a discovery tour. This time it was to St.Lucia. What a gorgeous island! Beautiful weather, as most of the Caribbean has, the friendliest people we have ever met, lush landscapes and some of the best meals we have had the pleasure to enjoy.
With everything from the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean to the dramatic and picturesque peaks of the Pitons, St.Lucia conspired to win our hearts.
We were graciously hosted by the wonderful folks of Calabash Cove Resort: Calabash Cove Resort
No amount of praise for Calabash Cove Resort will do it justice. It’s beauty, location, accommodation, services and let us not forget the food, all meld into pure magic.
Didier, the chef who is originally from France, is also a genius. Every meal he and his staff prepared was a piece of art, not only in the presentation but taste as well.
It truly was out of this world. Add to that the spectacular views from the restaurant of the ocean with stunning sunsets and you might never want to leave Calabash Cove Resort, let alone St. Lucia.
We did also go other places, as we always do. We stayed in several different villas and a few other resorts: St. Lucia
Each has its own particular charm.
All of the villas are amazingly well priced and just a short walk to the beach , as well as all other places we stayed or right on the beach.
We were very impressed by the quality found everywhere in St. Lucia, plus all of the beaches are public and there is no charge, even from the best of the resorts. .
In short, St.Lucia has so much to offer and is so gorgeous, that will definitely go back soon to enjoy the island to the fullest. We will take more excursions as well. Our catamaran cruise with the land and sea package was a great way to get a taste of the island. We saw the worlds only drive-in volcano, we marveled at the dramatic views of the two Pitons, St. Lucia’s iconic peaks. We photographed the waterfalls and the lush tropical wonderland surrounding them. We were fascinated by the process of transforming cocoa beans into chocolate. We enjoyed the quiet in the sleepy fishing villages and the hustle bustle of the main cities. We still need to trek up the Pitons and hike the rain forest…Oh yes! We Will Be Back.
Many properties in St.Lucia and other Caribbean and European destinations are having great special rates this summer and fall season due to the economic situation.
Also, we would like to remind you that Holiday Season is not far away so to avoid the disappointment of your favourite place being taken, please do yourself a favor and try to book early.
We still offer Jamaica, Dominican republic, St.Martin- French and Dutch sides in the Caribbean, plus do not forget our other sunny European destinations as well.
If you do not see something you are interested in, do ask and we can always try to find you the place you are looking for.
We are always here to help you get the best for your money.
Check back later, weare off to jamaica and ” SOON COME, MON! ” LOL
Sunny regards,
Rimma
